Moon in 12th House

The 12th house in Vedic astrology stands for the unseen or unexpected problems, limitations, exile, seclusion, hidden sorrows, quiet suffering, hospitals, occult science, feet and so on. When the emotional and creative Moon enters the 12th house, it leads to emotional attachment and sensitivity to the ethereal, physical and non-spiritual. The natives of 12th house in Vedic astrology need regular moments of solitude in order to recharge themselves. However, this habit can isolate them from the people and the natives may even be misunderstood. In short, the 12th house does not stand for good things in life. However, the benefic Moon can to some extent lessen the drawbacks of the natives’ individual destiny. The natives of Moon in the 12th house are characterised by a frequent surge of feelings and emotions. And when there are feelings, there are bound to be ups and downs. So, the natives of Moon in twelfth house blow hot and cold at regular intervals drawing more attention from the people around them.

The natives of this placement of Moon in the 12th house are truly emotional and sensitive in the social arena for which they will listen to other's need earlier and will truly feel their pain. They can well understand the requirements of others and try to help people around with their best efforts. On the other hand, they are quiet reserved and unable to express their inner core as they fear for being misunderstood & hurt and seek for their inner security for which they feel peaceful in solitude. Their sensitive core is the reason for their unstable personality.

The areas affected due to Moon in the 12th House:

Emotions and feelings

Seclusion

Introversion

Materialism

The Moon in the houses can reveal where and how we go about seeking emotional satisfaction. Important clues to the reason for perpetual emotional unrest can be found through the study of the house position of the Moon, and these take the form of constant changes or ups and downs in the areas of life ruled by the house. It is in these areas that we should aim to make deep attachments rather than superficial and temporary emotional thrills if we are seeking out a true feeling of belonging and emotional fulfillment.

Positive Traits/Impact:

The natives of Moon in 12th house are sensitive and by and large understanding towards others. They may notice even small things and ensure that their near and dear ones are not hurt by any talk emotionally. They expect the same sensitivity from others.

Also, they identify with the oppressed, disenfranchised and underdog. They feel for the weaker sections and wish to help them in whatever way they can as per Vedic astrology of Moon in the twelfth house.

Negative Traits/Impact:

The natives of Moon in the twelfth house are quite perceptive. They are flooded with emotions that can be hard to define. The natives frequently swing towards the extremes so that they can not really discover their emotional needs. The negative outcome can be, they may avoid taking any responsibility. They may treat their hypersensitivity as an excuse for their emotional immaturity. They are sensitive to others’ sufferings but may not be emotionally available for help, most of the time, according to the effect of Moon in 12th house.

Well, the placement of the Moon in the 12th house indicates emotionality. These natives are attached to the things that really do not matter, things that are transitory and temporal. In other words, these natives are likely to be more materialistic. In fact, the benefits of the good planet Moon will not get actualized much.

Besides, in certain situations, these natives may have a slow reaction to their emotional experiences. They can’t be called exactly unemotional. But they give unduly more importance to certain emotions, which makes them look bizarre to the people around them, according to Moon in 12th house Vedic astrology.

Also, their preference for solitude in certain situations may make them appear unsocial. But they are actually not against gelling and bonding with others. The only thing is they need occasional breaks from relationships and interactions, so they also have time for themselves. They get along well with people even if it means with a few selected ones.

Another aspect is that they do not really feel proud of themselves. While they deal with the feelings and emotions around them, their own feelings and emotions are something of an enigma to them. They may withdraw from their surroundings if it is not friendly and hospitable. They strive and aspire for peaceful surroundings in order to blossom and come out of themselves. All these problems of Moon in 12th house can be reduced by using proper remedies.

Difference between Lagna and Rashi in vedic astrology.

Difference Between Lagna And Rashi

Lagna and Rashi, both hold a great significance in astrology. Their importance especially increases when they are considered before auspicious occasions such as marriage or starting a new business. But most people do not take Lagna and Rashi as two different terms. They consider them as one and therefore, do not read both of them during horoscope reading.

If we study thoroughly, there are 12 houses as suggested in Vedic astrology. The 1st house is considered as Lagna and the Rashi is the sign in which the moon is situated. Laga and Rashi both are influential factors in a person's life.

In a person’s life, Lagna is basically considered while making any major decision in life like choosing a life partner, starting a new business or job. Whereas, Rashi is the moon sign. This means that the moon sign will determine how a person behaves in his life and what his personality will be like.

Let’s dig deep into the subject to get a better understanding of how exactly Lagna and Rashi are different from each other and how do they influence a person’s life:

What Is Lagna?
Lagna and nakshatra is the exact position of the sun and the formation of the stars in the eastern horizon at the time of your birth. That is why a person’s entire birth chart is based on the Lagna period. Lagna can be better described as the very first moment of contact between the soul and its new life on the earth. It is considered as one of the most important aspects in major events of a person’s life.

The Lagna changes every two hours. This means the ascendant at the time of the birth of a person remains only for two hours. On the other hand, the Sun remains on the horoscope for the whole one month whereas the moon remains there for two and a half days. That is why many people have common sun signs and moon signs but it is very least likely for them to have the same lagna or ascendant.

What Is Rashi?
Rashi is determined by the position of the moon at the time of birth. In short, Rashi is also called the moon sign. The action and behavior of a person are determined by the position of the moon at the time of their birth. In short, the moon sign determines the overall personality traits of a person.

Rashi, which is also known as ‘moon sign’ is the position of the moon at the time of your birth. The Rashi or the moon sign signifies what will be the behavior of the person and how they will react to the actions in their life. We can say that the personality traits of a person is determined by the rashi.

Example: If a person has Meena Rashi at the time of birth, then their moon sign is Pisces since it represents Fish or Meena.

The Rashi of a person could be either of the following:

      *Aries

      *Taurus

      *Gemini

      *Cancer

      *Leo

      *Virgo

      *Libra

      *Scorpio

      *Sagittarius

      *Capricorn

      *Aquarius

      *Pisces

Difference Between Lagna And Rashi:
The major difference between lagna and rashi is that lagna signifies to a person’s entire body whereas Rashi is the depiction of their soul and mind. Lagna of a person is read before all the major events in life. They help to determine if the events are going to be successful or a failure. For example, lagna is read specifically before marriages. This is because lagna will help us determine the success chances of married life, the relationship with the partner etc. It is also considered to determine parenthood, success in business, before making investments and so on. Whereas, if we talk about rashi, it depicts the mind and soul. Rashi controls our reactions to situations and circumstances in life.

Some Auspicious Yoga in Kundali

As per principles of Vedic astrology planets affect our energy levels and therefore our lives. There are certain planetary combinations that forms auspicious yoga in Kundali. These auspicious yoga’s affects life of an individual by giving positive results.

There are various auspicious yoga’s according to Vedic astrology. Some of the important yoga’s are listed below:

What Is Gaj Kesari Yoga?

In Vedic Astrology as well as Jatak Parijat, Gaj Kesari Yoga is categorised as an auspicious raj yoga. The word Gaj Kesari is made up of two words: Gaj + Kesari, where Gaj means elephant and Kesari means lion. Both of them are known to be strong animals with fierce qualities within. As per the scriptures, Gaj symbolizes Lord Ganesh as well, who is the Lord of Intelligence.

In this way, a native born with Gaj Kesari Yoga is said to be highly intelligent, strong, and prosperous. Gaj or Elephant possesses immense strength and is devoid of pride and the Lion is known for his foresight and skillful intelligence as well as his strength, quickness, skillful leadership, ability and courage. Accordingly, when Gaj Kesari Yoga is formed in a person’s kundli, then that person is seen adorning these qualities while hoisting the flag of immense success. Raj Yoga Report based on your birth details sheds light on the formation of any Raj Yoga in your kundli and reveals the characteristics, upcoming obstacles and opportunities in life.

Jupiter is also said to be the causative planet of wealth, so when Gaj Kesari Yoga is formed, the native is likely to gain immense wealth and undergo favourable financial conditions. Such a native attains a high position in life, becomes a skilled speaker and is proficient in speech. He or She is ambitious and strives for wealth.

Formation Of Gaj Kesari Raj Yoga

Shloka from Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra by Maharshi Parashar sheds light on the Gaaj Kesari Raj Yoga:

kendre devagurau laganāccandrādvā । śubhadṛgyute nīcāstārigṛhairhīne yogo’yaṃ gajakesar

gajakesarīsañjātastejasvī dhanavān bhavet।

 medhāvī guṇasampanno rājapriyakaro naraḥ

If Jupiter is in the Kendra Bhava or House (first house, fourth house, seventh house or tenth house) from the Moon and being aspected by auspicious planets, then the Gajkesari Yog is formed. For the formation of an efficient and strong Gajakesari Yoga, it is necessary that none of the planets, i.e. Jupiter and Moon are in a combust or debilitated state or positioned in a malefic sign, because if something like this happens, then this Yoga won’t deliver fruitful results even after being present in your kundli.

Apart from this, the Gajakesari Yoga formed in the eighth house, twelfth house and sixth house of your kundli often deliver weak results. It is important to note here in order for Gaj Kesari Yoga to form, it is important for Jupiter to be in the Kendra from the Moon and aspected by benefic planets. Therefore, planetary conditions and placements play an important role in its creation.

Gaj Kesari Yoga

 Benefactor Of Success in Life

If the Gaj Kesari Yoga is formed in the Mars-ruled signs, Aries or Scorpio, then the native becomes courageous, strong, and dominating for his/her enemies. Such a person is capable of reaching higher positions in the government sector in his/her professional life and can become an officer in the Defense Department, Army, Navy, Air Force, Police or organizations engaged in similar defensive functions. Such a person can become a strong businessman as well.

Gaj Kesari Yoga made from this Yoga makes a person a successful doctor or helps him/her succeed in the field of medicine, chemicals and machines. If that person is associated with a hospital, then also there are high chances of him/her leading a prosperous life. If you are worried about your career and wish to get the right career guidance, then you can opt for the CogniAstro Report.

If Gajkesari Yoga is formed in the Venus-ruled signs, Taurus or Libra, then the native probably possesses some impressive artistic skills and acting abilities. He/She attains profits from real estate and property and gets showered with wealth and prosperity.  Such a person achieves success in life by working in the field of agriculture, dance, modeling, singing, acting, painting, music and movies such as film direction or film making.

If Gajkesari Yoga is formed in the Mercury-ruled signs, i.e. Gemini or Virgo, then it makes a person well-learned, intelligent, sharp and with amazing memorising power. Such a person is very knowledgeable and can become the head of a large educational institution. He/She owns incomparable wealth and can earn a good name and money from business as well. Often such people earn a high reputation in the Stock Market and make progress in life by working in any financial institution or insurance sector.

If Gajakesari Yoga is formed in the Moon-governed sign Cancer sign or Leo sign ruled by the Sun, then such a native attains the highest rank and status in society. He/She is seen equipped with leadership qualities and values his/her pride. Such a person lives a happy life and can own several significant items such as jewels etc. Such a person can become a reputable minister, MP, an ambassador or the owner of an estate.

BudhAditya Yog in kundali

Budh Aditya yoga forms when the planets Sun and Mercury join in the same place in a native’s horoscope. This is called as a life-modifying and destiny changing yoga. Mercury is considered as the intellectual planet, whereas Sun is the life-energy planet. When these planets conjunct, the life-giving energy in the native’s brain makes him as a socially, prosperous and praiseworthy person.

Budh Aditya YogaIntegration of these planets makes a man extremely lucky in all aspects. It is called another Raj Yoga. The native can expect beautiful results in Antardasha and Mahadasha of these planets. But, at the same time, this Budh Aditya yoga sometimes brings bad luck also.

Some pre-requisites determine this yoga. Firstly, both the planet should be in the benefic state in the natal chart. Such a combination is best suited in the zodiac signs such as Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Sagittarius as they are friendly signs. But, they will not be useful in Libra, Capricorn and Pisces. When one planet is malefic and other is benefic, and then the benefic planet will lose the significance of its results. The results would be bad if both the planets are malefic that may give great suffering to the native.

Though Sun and Mercury are conjunct beneficially in a Kundli, the strength, placement, effects and other planets influence on this combination should be observed.

The Places of Budh Aditya Yoga and Its Benefits
